Mechanism of action
The HGH fragment 176-191 (AOD9604) is a lipolytic peptide derived from the C-terminal segment of growth hormone. Preclinical studies indicate indirect action via β3-adrenergic receptors (β3-AR): the peptide increases β3-AR expression in adipocytes, contributing to restoration of lipolytic sensitivity. Unlike full HGH, this fragment does not appear to significantly affect insulin sensitivity, making it a distinct research subject for lipid metabolism.
